Spring Lake Yearbooks: Includes full yearbook scans from Grand Haven High School 1927-1964 and Spring Lake High School 1966-2019. We are missing the years ’36, ’43, ’46, ’57, ’58, ’59, ’60, and ’61. Search for a specific student or click on “Full Index” on the bottom right to view everything.

Digital Sanborn Maps: Created for insurance purposes from 1867-1970, these maps show select Michigan towns and cities in great detail.  This is a great resource for historical research. For SLDL cardholders.

Legal Information Reference Center: Designed to assist the general public in legal matters of all kinds. Coverage includes exclusive full text for many top consumer legal reference books, thousands of legal forms, and detailed how-to instructions covering a wide-range of legal issues. A majority of the full-text legal reference books are provided through Nolo.

Legal Source: Authoritative database for current issues, studies, thoughts and trends of the legal world. It is an excellent resource for attorneys, educators, business people, law librarians, students, paralegals and others involved with the law.

MichiganLegalHelp.org: The Michigan Legal Help website was created to help people who have to handle simple civil legal problems without a lawyer. There are articles you can read to learn about a specific area of the law and toolkits to help you prepare to represent yourself in court.

Ottawa County Legal Self-Help Center: The Legal Self-Help Center is located in the Ottawa County Circuit Court building. The LSHC is staffed by volunteers who can answer questions about court processes, provide forms, review forms for completeness, and provide information about community resources.

Due to the remodel, we are not currently participating in MeLCat due to not being able to reciprocate with our materials.

Magazines & Newspapers

Grand Haven Tribune: An online searchable archive of the Tribune with selected articles from 2005 and full archives from 2006-2020 is available and must be accessed from within the library.

Newspaper Source Plus: Provides coverage from newspapers, newswires, and news magazines. TV, radio transcripts, and ongoing daily updates from popular news sources are also included. Primary full coverage newspapers are The Washington Post and USA Today.
