Spring Lake District Library is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative individual for the part-time position of Reference Paraprofessional – Adult Services. This role plays a key part in developing and delivering engaging adult programs, including generating new ideas and seeing them through from planning to execution.
The position includes a mix of public service and program coordination, with approximately 75% of time spent at the public desk and facilitating programs, and 25% dedicated to administrative tasks such as planning, outreach, and program support. Responsibilities also include assisting and instructing patrons with reference questions, technology, and library resources.
Fridays and some evenings are required, and this position participates in a regular weekend rotation. Training is provided.
