Spring Lake District Library is seeking energetic and organized applicants for the position of Reference Paraprofessional. This position will use library technology to assist and instruct library patrons of all ages in reference questions and other library techniques. The ideal candidate should be willing to work weekends and evenings. Training is provided.
Sample two week rotation:
Week 1: Thursday evening 4pm-8:15pm, Saturday 8:45am-5:15pm, Sunday 11:45am-5:15pm
Week 2: Thursday evening 4pm-8:15pm
Minimum requirements include an Associate’s Degree. MLIS students encouraged to apply. Must have experience working with the public, a strong commitment to customer service, and be comfortable with technology. This is a part-time position that starts at $18.12 an hour.
