Every year, the Friends of the Spring Lake District Library sponsor a Kids’ Bookmark Contest for kids in preschool through 8th grade.  The contest usually takes place during October.

In 2016, the theme of the contest was ‘Reading Gives You Superpowers.’ Entries were due by October 22, 2016, and the Awards Ceremony featuring special guest author and artist Amy Young is on November 12, 2016 at 2pm.

The winners’ bookmarks will be available at the Spring Lake District Library starting on November 12.  You can see all the winners and honorable mentions below.
