Have you signed up for the Summer Reading Club yet? Adults, teens, and children are all invited to stop by the library to get registered for the 2018 Summer Reading Club! Adults sign up at the Check Out desk and the kids & teen signup is in Youth Services.
When you sign up for the adult program, you’ll receive a book club card that will be stamped to keep track of your reading. While supplies last, participants can earn a prize for every five books of their choice that they read (up to 3 prizes per person). Each completed card is submitted as an entry for the grand prize drawings. The only requirement is that books have to be checked out from the Spring Lake District Library to count. Each teen or adult fiction or nonfiction book counts for a stamp towards filling up your card. Also eligible for a stamp are audiobooks (CD or MP3) as well as eBooks and eAudiobooks checked out from OverDrive, Libby or hoopla (2 online sources allowed per reading card).
Once your card has 5 stamps, you get your choice of prizes including:
- 1 Insulated Grocery Tote
- 1 Double Wall Tumbler
- 1 Insulated Lunch Tote
- 1 Package of Pepperidge Farm Cookies
- 1 Front Porch Ice Cream Coupon
The reading card is then entered into the Grand Prize Drawings.
The Friends of the Spring Lake District Library are the very generous sponsors of our Summer Reading Clubs, and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to them for their support.
