What is mindfulness? It’s defined as ‘purposefully paying non-judgmental attention to the present moment,’ but what does that really mean for you? If these are questions you’ve had, come to the library on Tuesday, September 20 at 7pm for our Mindfulness for Beginners workshop.

Carol Hendershot, co-founder of the Grand Rapids Center for Mindfulness, will lead the workshop and teach about the stress-relieving benefits of mindfulness.  She’ll discuss what science says about this ancient practice and share mindfulness activities that can be used to achieve greater focus, clarity, and calm.
