Can I browse the stacks?

Yes, we are at stage 3 as of July 15th, which means you can come in to the library to look for books. Please limit your time 30 minutes and wear a mask. We are still offering lobby pickup by request.

Can I use a computer?

Yes, we have a limited number of computers available for you to complete essential tasks. Limited assistance available from a distance of 6 feet.

Walk in or call us at 616-846-5770 to make an appointment.
Computers are spaced 6 ft apart and sanitized after each use.
Masks are required at all times in the building (we’ll have extras).
One person per computer–anyone else will be asked to wait outside the library.
Limited to one hour per day maximum.
Limited staff assistance from 6 ft away.
Prints or copies at 10 cents per page. Please bring exact change.

Will you be offering pick ups for holds?

Yes, we are offering hold pick ups now. Place your hold as normal and we will contact you when it is ready to be picked up!

Can I return my materials?

Yes! Our drive-up book drop is open and the lobby is open to return larger materials.

Can I schedule a time to use a meeting room?

Not at this time.

Can I get a library card?

Yes! If you live in our service area, please follow this link: https://forms.gle/uCtLviats5jbQ3RV9 or stop in to get a card.

Are my overdue fines adding up?

No. We are not charging fines at this time!

How do I use e-resources?

We have several digital resources available to you at this time. For eBooks, audiobooks, comic books, magazines, and movies, click here. Do you have wifi?

We have expanded the reach of wifi–you are now able to join it while sitting in our parking lot. Search for “SLDLGUEST”.

How can I renew my library card?

Cards that expired between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020 have been renewed another year. If you are still unable to use your card, please contact us via the methods listed above. You may also come in to the library to renew.
