Due to Governor Whitmer’s recent ‘stay at home’ order, we now know we will be closed until at least April 13. All materials currently checked out are due April 20.
The Library Board Meeting that was to be held on Friday, March 20 at 10am has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 26 at 10am. The meeting will take place via virtual meeting space.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 2020 – 15, the Spring Lake District Library will conduct its business via virtual meeting space to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to join this meeting by phone or the web. Board Chair John Nash will run the virtual meeting like a regular meeting. The public is welcome to dial in or connect via the web. There will be an opportunity during the meeting for public comment. Members of the public are not required to register or otherwise provide information to attend. Please utilize the mute function on your phone/computer while on a conference call, when appropriate.

Programs taking place in early April have been cancelled. Governor Whitmer has ordered many establishments, including libraries, to close until at least March 30th. We are monitoring the situation very closely and will continue to have staff in the building during normal business hours as long as we are able. Spring Lake District Library will be closed until further notice starting Saturday, March 14 2020. Library programs taking place in March have been cancelled.
