Join award-winning poet Greg Rappleye for a poetry reading of his latest work, Tropical Landscape with Ten Hummingbirds, a series of poems about the life and paintings of Martin Johnson Heade.

Heade was an American painter known for depictions of tropical birds, salt marsh landscapes, seascapes, and lotus blossoms.
Greg Rappleye’s other works of poetry include: Holding Down the Earth, A Path Between Houses, awarded the Brittingham Prize in Poetry and Figured Dark, first runner-up for the Dorset Prize and published in the Miller Williams Poetry Series. Tuesday, April 30 at 7:00 pm.
