Sign language as an effective way of communicating with your infant and has been a widely discussed topic recently. If you are curious about the benefits or where to get started, we have a class for you!
On Monday, December 3 at 10:30am, kids ages 0-2 and their caregivers can sign up to come to the interactive workshop Baby Sign Language taught by certified speech-language pathologist Emily Goudreault of High 5 Communication Resources. Teaching your child to sign can help reduce frustration – yours and your child’s – and open lines of communication between you. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and daycare providers will all take something away from this class!
While you’re at the library for Baby Sign, be sure to sign your child up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten! It’s never too early to read with your baby.
