It’s never too early for children to start exploring the library! In fact, research shows that earlier is better when it comes to introducing stories, language and songs, and the positive effects can last a lifetime. This fall we have two new Tuesday morning storytimes especially for babies and toddlers.

Beginning September 12, Little Movers will take place on Tuesdays at 9:45 am for toddlers and older babies who are more mobile. Do you have a younger baby who is not yet walking? Join us for Baby Bounce on Tuesdays for 10:45 am. Both programs give young children and their caregivers the opportunity to read, sing, bounce and dance together, as well as a playtime afterwards to socialize with other babies and adults.

Preschool Storytime for kids 3-5 years old is still on Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30am.  Not sure where your child fits in? You’re welcome to try any of our storytimes out and come to the one that best fits your schedule and your child’s interests.  If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 616.846.5770 ext. 1341 or stop by the Youth Services desk.
