Have you signed up for Summer Reading yet?  Adults, teens, and children are all invited to stop by the library to get registered for Summer Reading 2017! Adults sign up at the checkout desk, and the kids & teen signup is in Youth Services.

When you sign up for the adult program, you’ll receive a book club card to keep track of your reading.  The only requirement is that books have be checked out from the Spring Lake District Library.  Each teen or adult fiction or nonfiction book counts for a stamp towards filling up the card.  You can also read eBooks checked out from OverDrive  or hoopla or listen to unabridged audio (or eAudio!) books.

Once your card has 5 stamps, you get your choice of prizes including:

  • 1 Front Porch ice cream coupon
  • 1 insulated lunch bag
  • 1 beverage tumbler

The reading card is then entered into the Grand Prize Drawings for $50 gift certificates to local businesses like Village Baker, Ace Hardware, Old Boys Brewhouse, and more

Book club members may complete a maximum of three cards for prizes.  All prizes are while supplies last.  The Friends of the Spring Lake District Library are the very generous sponsors of our Summer Reading Clubs, and we’d like to extend a grateful thank you to them.
