If you grew up cheering for the Detroit Tigers, you’ll want to come to the library on Tuesday, June 6 at 7pm to share your passion with baseball historian and author, Dr. Bill Anderson.  Anderson has followed the Tigers for over 7 decades and has collected a treasure trove of photos and stories about the legendary players, stadiums, and championship seasons.  Tigers’ fans of all ages will enjoy the striking photos and fascinating stories, Dr. Anderson discovered when researching his books about the Tigers.

Anderson has written or edited several books about baseball and Civil War history including The Detroit Tigers: A Pictorial Celebration of the Greatest Players and Moments in Tigers History and The Glory Years of the Detroit Tigers: 1920-1950.  Both of these titles will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation.
