In town for Spring Break? Spend Spring Break at the library!   During the week of April 3, we have programs every day of the week for students on Spring Break.

On Monday, April 3 at 2pm, the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway will be bringing some special visitors to their program, Things that Go Whoo in the Night!  Kids and their families will get an up-close look at some common kinds of live owls as well as learning about an owl’s life and how owls can be encouraged to visit their backyards.

Tuesday, April 4 will feature a magical performance by the Mystic Prince at 2pm.  The Mystic Prince’s magic and illusions will thrill and astound kids of all ages.

Everyone’s favorite LEGO Block Party is on Wednesday, April 5 at 4pm.  Children are welcome to drop in between 4 and 5pm to get creative with the library’s LEGO blocks and construct a masterpiece for display at the library.

On Thursday, April 6, we’re having a Kids’ Yoga Class with Teacher Abigaile Holcombe.  Children ages 6-12 will have a chance to stretch, relax, and try out some yoga poses.  Space is limited so please pre-register your child for this class.

Finally, on Friday, April 7, we’ll be showing the new Disney movie Moana at 2pm.  Find out how far Moana will go to find adventure and finish a quest.  The movie is rated PG and is 107 minutes long.

Book Bingo is still taking place throughout Spring Break.  Pick up a Bingo sheet at the Youth Services desk, read the books to get Bingo & turn it in for a prize by April 9th.
