Do you like green eggs and ham? Come find out at our luncheon celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Thursday, March 2 at noon. Chef Hillary Kraak of Artisan of Grand Haven will cater the lunch featuring food from one of Dr. Seuss’ beloved books – Green Eggs and Ham! And since we’re also celebrating Read Across America Day, we’re excited to welcome Laura Hartman, WZZM 13 meteorologist to the library. She’ll read us Green Eggs & Ham.
To make sure we have enough lunch for everyone, this program is limited to 40 guests. Please visit our website to pre-register the children attending as well as their adults.
Read Across America Day is an initiative of the National Education Association. This year marks the 18th annual celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The goal of the NEA is to show children the joy of reading and help to build a nation of readers.
