This year, 2017 is the 100-year anniversary of the United States’ entrance into World War I.  On Wednesday, February 22 at 7pm, join us to commemorate that war and those who fought and fell with a presentation of music, songs, and poetry.

Muskegon Community College instructor Don Hoogenstyn Jr. will share music from countries fighting in the war including songs and marches to boost morale and inspire patriotism and pieces of sorrow for the fallen.

Learn more about the people who fought in the ‘war to end all wars’ through this original program of WWI era music.
