If not, come by the library on Thursday, September 15 at 7pm to learn ways to improve the quality of your sleep from Dr. Mehul Patel.  Research shows that getting good sleep on a regular basis can help improve your physical and mental well-being.  Not sleeping enough has even been linked to health conditions like heart disease and diabetes.

One in every three Americans say they’re not getting enough sleep at least a few nights of every week.  Dr. Patel will discuss the science of sleep and how to change your sleep habits for the better.  He oversees the North Ottawa Community Hospital’s Center for Sleep Disorders and is board certified in Sleep Medicine along with other specialties.  Bring your questions for Dr. Patel’s expertise and look forward to less time spent counting sheep!
