Whether you’ve read Julie Lawson Timmer’s debut novel Five Days Left or not, you won’t want to miss your opportunity to hear Ms. Timmer speak about her second novel Untethered at the library on Wednesday, August 10 at 7pm.

The editors of the magazine Redbook named Untethered as one of 21 books written by women that you have to read this summer.  They said that the book “examines human relationships and the concept of family in a very modern, relatable setting.” Untethered has also received glowing reviews from several outlets and other authors as well as a 4-star rating on Amazon.

We’re excited to have Ms. Timmer back at the library to talk about her books, writing process, and the family relationships that inspire her work.  The Bookman will be at the event with copies of Untethered available for purchase and signing.
