Calling all savvy shoppers and bargain hunters: great deals on new-to-you books will be found at the annual Friends of the Spring Lake District Library summer book sale!  Paperbacks to take to the beach, mysteries for the cabin, and children’s books to keep the kids busy will all be available from June 16-18.

The widest selection of books, audiobooks, and DVDs will be found during the sale’s Grand Opening on Thursday, June 16 from 5pm-8:30pm.  The sale continues from 9:30am-5pm on Friday, June 17 and on Saturday, June 18 from 9:30am-1pm.

Books will be available from 10 cents to $1 each while DVDs and video cassettes are priced at 50 cents apiece.  Starting Friday at 1pm, all prices will be reduced by 50%, and on Saturday, a bag full of books can purchased for $3.

The proceeds from the Friends book sale are used to support library programs and services throughout the year.  The summer reading clubs for both children and adults are just two of the great programs the Friends generously sponsor. Are you interested in joining the Friends of the Library?  They always are looking for new members.
